December Daily still going strong. This is day 10 and I really enjoyed doing this layout. How can you not smile about gingerbread houses? I love them and love getting all sticky and messy with the kids making these so, I really loved putting this layout together.
In case you are new to my blog I am doing a mini album called December Daily. The concept created by Ali Eswards, You can read all about it here.
This is my transparency divider for day 10. its the first full 6×8 one and I made it by printing an Ali Edwards design onto a transparency. You can see and/or buy this set of digital designs here.Just another shot showing what it looks like close up. To answer this in advance I printed this on my Epson R3000 inkjet printer and a special transparency that works in inkjet printers (a normal on will not work with an inkjet). Here is the page underneath it. Really it’s just abut that picture of us making gingerbread houses. The ‘US’ letters are just floating inside the pockets. NOTE: I actually put this page protector in upside down because I wanted the 6×4 at the top. Then I used washi tape to seal the bottom so the letters and confetti would not fall out. If I had a sewing machine I would have sewed this up but for now this will do.
Just showing a close up. I embossed the back of these letters with white ZING so they would be nice and bright on the other side.
The two pages as they sit in my album. I like the way you can see the bokeh effect from the lights on out tree coming though the transparency here. Here is the back.
This is the final page. A few more stars and a little more washi. The card in the top left is a piece of paper form the Ali Edwards December Daily kit and a bit of water colour with an embossed “Make some Magic”.stamp. That’s it day 10 is done.
