Hello! Well it’s exactly a month since I was last here furiously and regularly posting my December Daily progress but, I am pleased to say that this project is finally done. <insert sigh of relief>. While I was loving the process as it was happening, doing it in retrospect became a bit of a chore to be honest but I won’t dwell on it as it is now done.
I am breaking it up into two blog posts so as not to drown you in photos. Here is day 19-22.
I have wanted to use this little slice of wood for the longest time. I am pretty sure it came from a Studio Calico kit but please don’t ask me which one as I just could not tell you.transparent divider between days again (I did let go of this concept in the last part of the album)Day 20 page 1. Quite a few hours of my day looked just like this.19/20 Side by side as they sit in the album. This is the other side of day 20. On our way to Sydney we stopped over to see the gorgeous Jodie which was just the best! You may know her and her creative genius from here at Polkadot Creative. I thought it would be more meaningful to have Jodie’s gorgeous script on the page but, as I can’t get an original because she lives so far away I printed the word ‘friends’ onto some gold paper and I love the way it turned out. You can buy a digital file of Jodie’s script like this at A Piece Of Cake Design.Another divider for page 21. This was a stamped image using white Stazon onto a transparency. The Stamp comes from an older set by Kellie Stamps. Day 21 in the album. And without the divider on itA close up of this little 3×4 card. The words are from Ali Edwards digital collection which called December Stories which she created for this year’s December Daily. I just printed it and added the star with a brad. Simple and done.Other side of Day 21. Day 22. No divider here. The top 4×6 is also an Ali Edwards Digital template. The bottom is a photo with a couple of card layers.
There you have day 19-22. Sorry that the photos are not great but used my phone camera this time in the interest of getting things done as quickly as possible.
Next post will be the rest of the album.
