December Daily 2014 – Day 2

comments 26

The tradition of writing letters to Santa is one I truly love. I love  that everyone in this house writes a letter to Santa not just the kids.   This was the main focus of my December daily pages for today.

A quick journalling card to document Sam today using an Ali Edwards brush form this years set. I was a little under about these at brushes at first but now that I have used a few I realise that I actually really like them. I used Photoshop elements to colour the brush and the card on the right digitally before printing.

As I work though the album I think I have decided to use a transparency divider of reach day. As there only a few in the Ali Edwards kit I will have to draw on some of my supplies like I have done here. IMG_9390I have also decided to use the wood veneer numbers form the Ali Edwards December Daily kit to mark each day on the divider. IMG_9392

This is my favourite photo for today and if I had to only choose one, this would be it.IMG_9393

Day two is done.

See you tomorrow night.

  1. I love how you cut up that one 3×4 card with the checklist – and I really love where you placed the gold foil December 2014 card on the cover. Looks really nice!

    • Thanks Anne. As I look thtough the papers I’m thinking I may be cutting quite a few up actually.

This is fabulous Petra. Love the photo of you all around the table and LOVE your big Santa!

  3. Oh you stinker, already getting Day 2 done. 🙂 I’m afraid my Day 2 will be a while as I work all day tomorrow but you’re inspiring me! Love this so much!!

    • Tracie I work all day 5 days a week 🙁 I spend my nights (once the kids are asleep) doing this because I love it. Yup not much sleep this time of year.
However, I am almost a whole day ahead of you time wise here in Australia as our day is ending just as yours is starting 🙂
Thanks for stopping by to see and comment.

    • Thanks Jodie. Yes I am quietly panicking whether I may run out of room in my album …..
