December Daily 2014 – Day 4

comments 10

HI Guys and welcome to my first Thursday of December Daily for this year. I have have a seriously crazy busy week and doing this each night has helped me wind down and reflect on the loveliness of the season.

Day 4 is super simple only 2 pages. (or one back and front depending on how you look at it)IMG_9446

Staring with a transparency once more I used a gold number four which I had from last year. It turns out it’s the same font as the wood veneer ones that came with the Ali Edwards December Daily kit so I put the veneer on on the other side of this transparency. IMG_9447

I just made the semi circle using a stamp from the kit and some white card stock. Both sides of the transparency are the same except the four on the back is raw wood veneer.IMG_9449

This is the page without the transparency over it. The Santa peg is one that my youngest daughter gave me today. It was attached to a card or gift she received at school but when she saw me this afternoon she immediately handed it over and said “mummy you have this you can put it in your scrap book”. One yes, she gets it.IMG_9452

I made this little cut out using my Silhouette Die cut machine and some Ali Edwards Christmas brushes I had bought in previous years from Designer Digitals. You can find them HERE. I love these little frame and used American Crafts POW glitter paper to make them.IMG_9453

Here is the back of the page. Just a picture of where we found the elf this morning. IMG_9455Also form my stash are these gold Thickers. I am really tired and just wanted to get this done tonight. Yardstick from the kit and Thickers. Bam it’s done!

I have my Work Christmas dinner tomorrow night so will likely not be able to post Day 5 until either VERY late or on Saturday. All depending on how “merry” I get.

Till next time

  1. Love the little Santa peg addition and the story behind it. I think I’ll give pegs with kids cards next year, regardless of their call for candy canes, sooo much sugar!!
