December Daily 2014 – Day 5

comments 16

Here I am with day 5. I almost kept this at a one page day but when I looked though all my photos there was too much I wanted to include.  So it’s a couple of pages again and here are the pictures.IMG_9615

Knowing I was going to run out of transparencies as dividers I have started creating some my own.IMG_9616

This one was made using white Stazon ink onto a transparency. I sued a December Daily stamp set that Ali Edwards had created last year for the stamped word.IMG_9617

This is the main story of Day 5. IMG_9618

So one we made it home from school at lunch time we celebrated the end of the school year. I thought this big piece of 6×8 paper from the Ali Edwards December Daily kit was perfect. There certainly Ought to be!! IMG_9619

Sorry that the photos are a bit average tonight.

Until tomorrow.

    • Ha! Well it’s 2 years running now. Think if we do it again next year we can well and truly call it a tradition. 🙂
The kids really love it so I am happy to do it for them.

    • Yes me too Sandra. Very rare to have photos of all 5 of us in there and this was a single shot attempt too! yay!
I think I may need to print this one out separately 🙂

    • Thank you Stacy-Lee,
I’m not 100% sure which pink you are referring to but yes there is a pinkish colour in the kit this year which I have come to rather like. Looks nice with the pale blue.

      • Should proofread before I hit publish lol the pink referring to the word ‘December’ and the make more merry card, I wasn’t sure if it was pink or just lighter red, either way I like it 🙂 And meant to say, I love the digital additions to your photos x

        • Aaah ok the word december is a plastic somewhat translucent diecut that came in thr DD kit and yes the words on thr merry card are a very pale red … So kinda pink 🙂

  1. I love how your scrapbooks actually contain journaling! You actually capture a story and it inspires me to do the same. I also like how you can’t pick just one photo 🙂 I’m the same way. When right now the trend in scrapbooking seems to be one small single photo on a page and 1 sentence of journaling, yours is a refreshing change of pace! Thank you.
