December Daily 2014 – Day 8

Hi there and Welcome!

Day 8 of December Daily. Here that means back to work and kids begin vacation care. Probably my smallest layout yet. For some reason however it took far longer than it should have. Anyway here goes.

Transparency divider by stamping white Stayzon ink onto a transparency.IMG_9686IMG_9687

This is the back of the transparency. I just hand cut a piece of pattern paper and put a chipboard sticker onto it to hide the tape holding on the circle no the other side. {note to self I desperately need a 1.5″ circle punch. I keep finding occasion for one but never have it! }IMG_9689

First page about Advent Calendars. Pretty simple. I also did another gold cutout cutout of a frame using my Silhouette. (finding this gold foil paper a little addictive truth be told) IMG_9692

This is the back of the page. IMG_9691My favourite story of the day with a gold heart. The gold heart was actually the inside (or negative) of the “Heart Santa” cutout I did yesterday. I kins of like it’s wonkiness.

  1. Is that a wood veneer as a stamp???? Inspired to silhouette cut in foil, forgot I had some! Sweet photo 🙂

    • Hi Lisa,
Here I have used the font Remington Noiseless. I use anything between size 10 and 14 and play with the leading depending on how much I am trying to squeeze in. I think this may have been size 12.
