December Daily 2015 – Day 6

DECEMBER DAILY

Good Morning (well it is here anyway)

Thought I would quickly share my day 6 before heading off to work. Day six, well there is truly little to talk about other than that it was an absolutely awesome day for my family. There was no specific agenda, no plans, no chores to be done, no rush and no christmassy themed things to do. Except perhaps spend time together as a family unit. As I mentioned in my intentions ‘time’ is what I really wanted to focus on this December and today was a perfect example of that,IMG_8200

The five of us just hung out, played games and no one had other things to distract them. We all had time, we all spent it on each other and it was bliss. So my layout was equally relaxed and amounted to no more than these two pages.IMG_8200-2

Here is the left side. Just a picture I took using my iPhone, my Apple watch as the trigger and my Joby Gorillapid (the one made for phones) mounted on top of our side fence. Hoping this is the last December we spend in this “lack of yard” it’s not perfect, or even great but, we were together so who cares right?IMG_8201

Ali Edwards inspired those doing December Daily to stamp a quote on vellum in her Day 4 December Daily post . Since I didn’t really have any ideas on what else to do on this layout I thought it was a perfect chance to give it a go. I found this quote using Google and thought it was quite fitting for the day we had so I got my StazOn ink (note to self you need to buy a new one as this one is almost dead) and off I went. Quite happy with the result and even happier that I got my layout done.IMG_8203

In case you are wondering, I used this here stamp set which I purchased form Studio Calico quite some time back. I’m not sure if it is still available but I really like the size of these letters and the occasional use of dots instead of solid fill.

That’s if tor today. Better start getting ready for work.

Have a great day everyone

  1. I love it. You are so unbelievably clever! I can see some serious scrap lifting going on!!!

    • You are too kind with your words. Remember that I scrap lifted the stamping from Ali already !

  2. Cool capture of your family and the process to achieve it! At some time during this December I will stamp a full sheet too!
