Well that time of year its once again upon us and today, the 1st of December, marks the start of another December Daily adventure. This is my 3rd year (you can view my past efforts HERE) and I am finally excited. I’m not as organised as I have been in the past and by that I mean I haven’t done any foundation pages but, that’s ok, I’m just gonna roll with it and bank on my “experience” haha! Please wish me luck!
So some of the technical stuff. Once again I am using the Ali Edwards December Daily Main Kit. I purchased the main kit designed by Ali and also 2 add on mini kits namely Jasmine Jones kit and One Little Bird kit. There was a LOT of choice this year in the kit department and I restrained myself and just purchased these. I also have my little box of leftovers including stamps from previous years (I posted a picture on instagram), and always have things like embossing powders on hand. I am hoping to perhaps also incorporate some Heidi Swapp Mink goodness this year but we’ll see how time goes. My album is the beautiful Jasmine Jones designed 6×8 (unfortunately these sold out very fast).
Last night I finally un-boxed them all, took bits out of baggies and wraps and set my station up much like last previous years. I like to have it all out and at hand. I have done a quick title page, written out some intentions (as inspired by Ali Edwards here) and I’m ready to start.
Here is my setup. I don’t have too much space but I seem to get by with this.
Here is the inside cover an title page. For the title page I just Zinc embossed the large Wood veneer disk in the kit and stuck on the “December Daily” take and numbers. (the trees on the left are leftovers form previous December Daily adventures)
A few little close ups of the title page. I guess I was going for a christmas bauble type look.
Here is my intentions page. The word “intentions” is a fee digital brush that Ali Edwards kindly shared in this post.
I added a little sprinkling of these little stars just for something a little dimensional on this page.
My next post will be photos and pages from December 1st!
Hope you’ll join me in putting together your December Daily album this year and even if you don’t I’m glad you’re here coming to have a look.
