HI Guys and welcome to my share of my day 14.
This was a cookie baking day. Something my kids love to do in general but in December we cook special cookies and my kids look for ward to this day a lot. So here is how it turned out. After a couple of hours of mess (and cookie) making in the kitchen the youngest two got a little bored but my oldest really wanted to continue and try something new. We found this recipe for chocolate ginger bread cookies and these cuties were the result. She made them from scratch all on her own but what took my heart away was the icing. This is just one small group of the many she made and I love how each one has his own little personality. The story was on the back of this little tag. ON the opposite page I captured a little more of the cookie making. The insert card is from Ali’s kit and when I saw the “Baking treat” stamp in one of this year’s stamp sets I also knew I had to use it. Underneath is is a flap.Lifting the flap reveal another part of the story. As well as a picture of me about to put the biscuits in the oven (the only real assistance I was asked for). My youngest daughter took this picture and as much as I look totally frazzled I am glad she did.Again I stamped “baking treats on this side of the tab.Are are the two pages for day 14 side by side as they sit in the album.
Thanks for visiting!
