Well here we are at day 12. Hope you are all enjoying the Christmas season. We certainly are and we are really looking forward to the big day itself. My day 12 is pictured below. The slightly different thing about this layout is that there are no photos.
I’ll be honest and say I am a little over the dark, poorly lit (and rightly so) cinema photos of us sitting in a row. So we just enjoyed the experience (after me losing the car keys at home and getting there late …. oops).
WARNING: if you have not seen the movie I don’t want to spoil anything for you but my daughter does write her thoughts on the movie below so don’t read that if you don’t want to know anything ahead.
Here is the full page. I created a little pocket by cutting up a 6×4 card and then just attaching it to the outside of the pocket page.Because movie tickets are printed on thermal paper which inevitably fades, I took a photo of each ticket (selecting seat 10,11 and 13 from our 5 because they correspond to our kids ages right now. This was not planned but am happy about the subtle link). I then printed the ticket on card stock, put each child’s initial on the front and had them write about their thoughts on the movie on the back.
I really like that the ticket has the date, the time and what we did.
This is what the back of each ticket has on it. All three of our kids wrote on the card.I did end up typing onto the journal card. Here is a little view of what the page looks like without the tickets in.
