Well hello and welcome to my day two of December daily.
Every few days when I get the opportunity (and if my daughter lets me) I will share her December Daily journey also. I purchased the Kid’s kit for her and it is just perfect and manageable so far. As of today (Day 3 here in Australia) she is up to date and I will show some of her pages below.
Here are my pages.
In keeping with adding others’ voices int his year my son offered to write about Sam, our Elf on the Shelf.
The Journalling card was one of the tags that came with Ali’s kit that I cut down to a 3×4 card because I wanted to use it in a 3×4 pocket.
This star came in the Ali Edwards December Daily 2017 Kit and I have deliberately hung it off the edge of the page at the top as I think that ads a little more dimension. The “C” is so that I remember that my son Calvin wrote that piece. 🙂 Love his scratchy, scrawly writing and for him this is a fantastic effort. I am glad I am adding the kids handwriting and voices.
Here is the flip side of page two. A story about one of the day’s activities.
This wood veneer semi circle was in fact a full circle that I took to with scissors and cut in half as I didn’t want a full circle.
The Joy card I made using Heidi Swapp Minc medium and then laminated gold with the mink machine. The word Joy was an Ali Edwards stencil from last year. The finish is far from perfect but I actually like that it is a little, shall we say, chabby chic. 🙂
So that’s it or my Day 2 pages. Below are pictures of April’s December Daily so far as promised. I love them and think she is doing great. Go April GO!
