Hi there. Well it’s about time I start getting back into posting about project life. What better topic the start off a brand new year than the font page? ( In case you are wondering I have not quite finished my 2013 album but will slowly work away on it in the background but, inspiration recently jumped my way so I opened my arms to it and completed this here 2014 Project Life title page for our family album. I received a Silhouette Portrait die cut machine for Christmas and used it here for the “2014″ insert. The “twenty fourteen” wording is also a die cut using the portrait. The words are an Ali Edwards design.
So, this is it. If you have followed me for any length of time you’ll know I like to have a little fun with my title pages. I found these gorgeous little erasers in Officeworks shaped like letters of the alphabet and that’s when, right there in Officeworks, the idea of my title page came together. You can see here that I had each member of my family hold letters spelling out their name (with the exception of Mackenzie of course. She has the smallest hands and the longest name!) Oh yes there were many out takes, giggles, letters falling off, rolling off a little frustration but all in all we did actually have fun.Just in case you are not to familiar with the Becky Higgins Project Life range the filler cards I have used here are from the Becky Higgins Midnight Core Kit. There was much deliberation about which kit to use this year but given what I have planned, this was eventually the most natural choice. Here I attached a little plastic camera embellishment that came from Studio Calico. I am subscribing to the Studio Calico Project Life kits this year so you’ll be seeing some of those here and there.Just one final shot of the page. I will continue my hybrid style of Project Life mixing the best of both worlds of Digital and Physical Project life and embellishments.
Thanks for joining me for another year of the Project life Journey. I look forward to answering your queries and receiving your comments which I will always endeavour to answer.
Happy 2014 and let’s get into it together!
Thanks For Dropping In
