PROJECT LIFE

DSC_0071Thanks for dropping by to see my week 13. No printing of journalling this week all handwritten. Went for a very simple balck and white look with Becky Higgins grid journal cards as fillers and some Technique Tuesday stamps by Ali Edwards. I used 5 of the stamps in this pack on the one layout. Awesome value and it keeps it all uniform just the way I like it. DSC_0048Left side right here. And yes this was the week that Heidi Swapp was doing the Spotlight tour. I popped out in my lunch break to come see her when she was n Brisbane. Seriously she is just the loveliest and a lot of fun too.DSC_0069This is  super simple filler card I made. Just a grid card, Stamp and a Pebbles Sticker. Done!DSC_0049Right side of the layout.DSC_0051I included this little flip pocket to catch a few extra moments of us meeting Becky Higgins. I even included the IG post that Becky posted of it. DSC_0052This is the inside of the flip pocket. I used CTMH stick on Flip Flaps in 3×4. I love these they are great quality and super simple to use. Just peel and stick! (If you are in Australia and would like some of these please get in touch with me as I am more than happy to help you out. They come in a variety of sizes)DSC_0073Finally a little close up of some more use of the Awesome Technique Tuesday Stamps. I Subscribe to these Studio AE stamps (Designed by Ali Edwards) and love receiving a new set each month. You will notice there is also a small stick on tab on the photos like the one that says “Saturday” here. These come from the Becky Higgins sticker packs you can buy. I love them because they are just small enough not to take over the photo and are a great part of the story too so I know which day what happened.DSC_0078Finally, the week as it sits in my album. I actually did this layout on National Scrapbook day 2014. (2nd March 2014). It’s the only one I did that day but, one is better than none right?

So that’s it for now.

Thanks For Dropping In

Petra

  1. Great layout, love it. How did you get the pictures with the white border and rounded corners?

    • Hi Gina, thanks for your comment. If you look a few posts down on my blog you’ll find a link to a video tutorial about how I do the white borders. :)

I love your pages, so coherent! I also love Ali’s PS brushes, but I need to buy some real stamps as well… You can make such lovely layouts in a sec ;-)

    • Yes the stamps sure make it a breeze. And they are fun too! Thanks for your lovely comment.

  3. Love live the effect of the stamps. You make it all look so easy but it isn’t!!!

    • Hi Michelle! Do you still sub to Ali’s stamps? It really is easy. I am a stamping nufty. Just ink them up and smack them on !
