Project Life 2014 – Week 14

DSC_0075‘Hello There’ week 14 indeed.  This was a high intensity week for me in particular. Lots of flying, very early mornings, meeting too many amazing people to count only to crash when I came back home. I went back to my Becky Higgins Midnight Core kit for this week and could not resist adding a little sparkle with some gold here and there.DSC_0054So here is the left side of the layout. See what I mean about the amazing peeps I got to spend time with? I didn’t want the whole week taken up with photos from the Spotlight Masterclass, my time with Becky and David and then the Craft House Project Life Party so I added not one, but two CTMH Flip Flap pockets. see below.DSC_0056DSC_0057DSC_0058DSC_0086They are so very easy to layer you end up with a mini book in your album and don’t even notice at first inspection. (See original shot of left side of layout). The Smile here is a Heidi Swapp Buzz Words sticker and it’s stuck on top of the pocket page. These words have awesome stick on them and because they are plastic are quite flexible.DSC_0081But the week wasn’t all about me. My youngest participated in cross country and thanks to my wonderful friend Sandra I got this picture of her proudly holding a ribbon. Of course that also deserves sparkle!DSC_0084And we had our own “don’t get mad get the camera moment” when I walked into the bathroom, and the shower was entirely covered with soap bubbles and almost flooded as these two were screaming with laughter discovering they can blow bubbles just using their hands and LOTS and LOTS of shower gel.DSC_0061Right side of week 14 layout. I ran out of puff and hand wrote the journal card. Not my finest hour but it’s done.untitled (1 of 1)Finally the layout as it now sits in my album.

Hope you are enjoying your Sunday morning.

Thanks For Dropping In

    • I know Michelle! You’re everywhere!hehe
Love having you in my album x

  1. What an awesome day it was!!!! So much laughter, some tears and meeting of like minded PL devotees… It was lovely to meet you and so many of the lovely PLA ladies in person. You did so well to limit your photos like you did. My Week 14 turned into 6 pages but I did include everyone’s swap cards from the day. I love how you have layered the ever awesome flip flaps!!! I would be lost without them some weeks……

  2. This looks inspiring as always and I love that your back to sharing on your blog, missed all the posts. Love the use of black, white and gold, of course, a girl after my own heart!
