Project Life 2014 – Week 15

PROJECT LIFE

untitled (1 of 1)-2Yep Week 15. I’m behind but not at all stressed about that! Week 15 I continued the use of the Becky Higgins Midnight Kit. I just want to pause and say to anyone reading this blog post that “behind” does not really exist in Project Life. You are “up to” whatever your time, life and inspiration permits and that is TOTALLY OK.  If you are moving forward with your project Life journey then that is exactly where you should be. Whether you are going back in time or forward like me, you are moving forward. Well done! untitled (1 of 1)-3

So here is my left side. You will notice it’s pretty flat and simple. When I get into “get a few weeks done” mode the sometimes happens. I sit in front of my iMac and just punch out those pages. Not much fan fare but plenty of content. untitled (1 of 1)-5This shhot is not only one I love but also contains some of Haidi Swapps handiwork. The word “Fabulous” is from one of her recent embellishments kits that I know I will use over and over. There is not much that Heidi can write in her gorgeous scrip that I don’t want to add to my pages. untitled (1 of 1)-4Right hand side of the week. Lots of journalling I know. Sometimes that just happens.untitled (1 of 1)-6Another Heidi Swapp word smack bang in the middle of the picture. untitled (1 of 1)-8Last but not least, the 2 page layout as it sits in my album. For some reason I had a lot of trouble dodging and weaving to get this shot without reflections but here t is.

Hope you had a great weekend.

Thanks For Dropping In

  1. I have missed seeing your gorgeous pages Petra!! So I have enjoyed the recent posts full of gorgeousness… I am totally loving the Heidi Swapp stickers and might have to get myself some. Her script is only rivaled by Ali’s… The photo of your kids and adopted pumpkin is particularly cute. Thanks for sharing :)

    • Hi Sian, yep well this time of year is always OTT for me work wise but I am coming out from under the mountain of work to see there is blue sky and sunshine out there and it has inspired me to look into also catching up on something I love. Agree on Ali Script. Jodie from Polkadot Creative only tops that podium for me. Thanks so much for your lovely comment. x

looks fantastic, I’ve got into my PL this weekend, had stopped at the end of March cos was waiting for professional photos of when my son was a partner in a debutante ball, now I’ve started May, yay! Only two double layouts a month for me, which is what I did last year and works good for me, with my kids 17 & 19… just wanna know if you do the text journaling in photoshop, it looks great, thanks for sharing

    • Hi Jo, That sounds so Awesome. Yay for starting May! You are ahead of me. Yes I do all the text journalling in Photoshop Elements. If you look on the VIDEO tab on my blog you should find a post how I do it because I actually print on the physical core kit cards. Thanks for stopping by to leave a comment :)

  3. I love that you gave us all a pep talk at the beginning. I’m working on week 14 and I’m totally cool with that too. Thanks for the encouragement honey xxx

  4. Oh my the pumpkin photo!!!!!! So cute. I love your kids. I love your pages. I love you.

  5. Love that photo of you looking out at the sea/boats and the one with the kids and the pumpkin. I always find that so hard to not have the reflection. If someone was to watch me take photos they would be in fits of laughter the amount I move around, lol, so I can just imagine you as well!

Love this week and all the journaling.

    • Thanks Kellie. Of course the pic of me is taken by my lovely hubby. I love his photos too.

Thanks for popping by and leaving a comment x
