Hello there and thanks for coming by to look at my week 5. Back to the Becky Higgins Midnight core kit and in all a totally unfussy layout of what went on in this week.
Here is the left side. Like I said nothing fussy. I will mention that the word “week” on the title card I cut using my Silhouette Portrait. I did a tutorial video for Polkadot Creative about how I did this right HERE. It is a very simple process (and just as possible on other die cut machines if you have one). I also used a rub on from the Studio Calico Copper Mountain Project life kit for the “One day at a time”. I have recently used a few good quality rub ons I am gaining a new love for these. Anyone else ?.. It’s just that some years back they were a little hit and miss in the quality department and this seems to be changing! Yay.
Some sad news this week of one of our Guinea Pigs coming to the end of her little life. It was a sad day for all of us and the kids first real experience with the big ‘D’ word. Gulp….
We finally tackled the disaster that we call our garage …. Over to the right hand side of the week.
And another school year is under way. I thought it called for a larger photo of my three. Aaah look at those lovely shiny new shoes… I have to stop to enjoy them for a moment as it is very fleeting. As I look over at them now (only a few weeks on) they look like totally different. Especially my sons!
I included an instagram picture that hubby took of me having a go of their Nitro cars. It was a lot of fun and I didn’t really notice him taking this picture until I spotted it on the instagram feed! Finally here is a picture of the entire layout as it appear in my album. Now to do some serious catch up with the next few weeks!
Thanks For Dropping In
