There’s no in between, here’s week seventeen!
That’s right week seventeen already. I did say I have some catchup to do. Week seventeen brought to you by the letter “A” for Amy or Ali and the colour Orange. Ahh good ol’ reliable & happy orange. There is even an insert this week. Gasp! Yup I’m back on track getting into a Project Life routine.
The left side of the layout is here. A collection of bits from our week with a black and orange insert card. The “week 17” card was made stuff I had laying around. In fact the “Recorded” was something I mis printed from the core kit. It was printed the wrong size (way bigger than it should have been) but not wanting to waste it I cut it down and used it as the base for the week card.
This filler cards was made using the Becky Higgins Seafoam Kit (the base card) some yummy neon orange Washi from Freckled Fawn and a Technique Tuesday Stamp by Ali Edwards (Studio AE). Yup a real mixed bag of lollies that one but again trying to keep these fairly simple but unique.
Straight onto the right hand side of the layout. A Lot more journalling this time, a bit more play with the neon wash and some stamps. Sometimes under the washi, sometimes on top. And yes even a little hand writing on a kit journalling card I cut in half and stuck on top.
Week 17 was also pretty exciting in that on Sunday we got to meet the delightful Amy Tangerine. The whole family came along. The boys mainly for photography type purposes and it didn’t take long before they were distracted by the nearby cash converters LOL! As it was something a bit special and different I did this 8×10 insert to mark the occasion. Seeing as we were there to meet Amy I thought it only fitting to use mostly Amy Tangerine products in this layout. This is an awesome moment (that has been posted a few times now) of my 8 year old daughter winning the main prize draw by pulling her own name out of the box! (luckily the boys were back from cash coveters for this moment).
This is the flip side of the insert. My first real play with the Amy Tan Embroidery kit & with some Mr Huey’s mists & stencils. I used this page to keep all the little notes/autographs we each got from Amy. She is just delightful in real life.
Finally the full spread. All up I used quite a lot of different products, too many to list so, if you would like to know what any are please do ask and I’ll let you know.
Until next time,
Thanks For Dropping In
