Week 22

DSC_0253Here comes week twenty two. Things are finally settling down in our ‘Mad May’ and aside from me going away for work for a couple of nights it was a fairly ordinary week filled with our ‘everyday’.  My only probelm with going away is that I rely on Lincoln and others to take photos of the week. Luckily he is well used to all this and reliably produces something in the way of photographs I can use. I am very lucky.

D8E_1031This is the Left side of the layout. Back to the gorgeous Teal colour from the Becky Higgins Seafoam kit. I even ventured into using some glitter. The “22” on the week card is made using American Crafts Thickers that you can put your own glitter onto. You peel back the adhesive cover sprinkle some glitter and you’re done. I went with a pop of gold.

D8E_1032Straight to the right side.

DSC_0254Continuing this simple and very fat week the only bumpy bids were a couple of Studio Calico Cork stickers like the “love” one here. The background to this photo is a card from the Seafoam kit however I printed out the digital one and I just coloured the “today” to match the teal colour on the rest of the layout.

DSC_0256Perhaps my favourite part of this week layout is this quote from my daughter when I asked her how much custard she wanted in her bowl. It’s these moments that make me really  and I mean REALLY love Project Life.  If I wasn’t doing project life this gorgeous quote would quickly be forgotten but now I have it here forever and I smile each and every time I see it.

Untitled-1Finally here is the whole layout. This one was done and dusted in no time. Love it when pages get finished.

Thanks For Dropping in

Lovely Petra – I love putting quotes from the kids in too. No way I would remember them all otherwise but this way the memories are saved.

    • Hi Sarah,
Yes Project life is a true gold mine of tidbits otherwise easily lost and forgotten.
      Thanks For Dropping In
