Week twenty four was a bit of fun in the making.I still stuck to the Becky Higgins Seafoam kit but isolated the black and white cards. I was also very lucky when putting this week together because I was asked by Studio Calico to preview and guest Instagram their June Add On Project Life stamp. This stamp is really lovely and I used it quite a lot in this week including the “never forget” on, you guessed it, cork and the date stamp on this title card. The circular date stamp was stamped onto white paper and then punched out using a circular punch.
So the left side of my layout is here. Other than cork I am also enjoying transparencies at the moment. I think they give suh crisp and super sharp black images that really pop. You can see it on the little cloud on the bottom right on this layout and of course on the Camera image on the filler card I created using a bit of ink and the transparency. The Studio Calico Project Life stamp on this page is also the “yes” on the cup of tea, the “Let’s eat” both stamped directly onto the photo using Stayzon ink and …
on this gorgeous bit of cork which I also punched using a circular punch.
The “you are absolutely amazing” stamped on cork in the top left is from a stamp set by Give A Girl A… I mentioned Kellie and her stamps as well as her generous offer of a discount to my readers on my previous blog post found HERE.
Over to the right side of this week layout. More stamps, more cork, more transparencies and more black and white.
My favourite part of this page is this quote insert also using the Stamp Add On. (which by the way yo can view and buy HERE). To be totally honest I am not a huge stamper by any stretch but I did enjoy it a lot this week and got plenty of use from the one stamp set which I think is a real bonus. I can see myself using this stamp set over and over again. Even the calendar is so, so versatile.
Finally here is the weeks layout altogether. I was really concerned with sticking with the Black and white at first but it actually turned out to be really easy and no struggle at all. And I sure had plenty of fun along the way.
Thanks For Dropping In
