Week 29

PROJECT LIFE

DSC_0034Hi and welcome to my week 29. Continuing with the Jade I thought I’d pick on the gorgeous red in the kit. It’s not a real deep cherry red rather a little faded and I love it. Was really inspired by this colour and just love how bold and strong it looks in this layout.  HAHA listen to me….  ok well I really like the way this week turned out and I managed to squeeze in some cork! Yay! So here goes.

week29LHSThis is the left side of the layout. It’s dawned on me that quite often the colour I choose in a week seems to have an affinity with at least one photo in the layout. This week it’s the red strawberries in this layout. The “Morning Coffee” is a stamp from the many that Kellie at Give a Girl a Stamp creates and sells. (might I add they sell out fast!) I love her stamps I really do but, I super enjoyed my little man getting up at the crack of dawn to make me a coffee before me getting into a taxi to fly out of town for the day.

Week29 RHSNow we move over to the right hand side. More of the red and a few really gorgeous moments with my kiddos.

DSC_0035Here I used an Ali Edwards stamp from Technique Tuesday stamped on a piece of card stock on a Jade filler card and a Studio Calico veneer of a typewriter to make the 3×4 filler.  I also love that April was helping her little sister put on some lip gloss in this picture next to it,  they are so sweet together.

DSC_0040My week in review card is here and I used a manual die on some cork to make the “This week”. When it was all done thew on a few silver stars from Basic Grey. The little stars are probably my favourite embellishments of this whole week. They were a last minute decision but make me so happy.

week29And no here you can see the complete layout all in one place. That’s week 29 done.

Thanks For Dropping In

Ooh that red is stunning. It looks like it could nearly pass as a pink if it needed to also. Your gorgeous pages are making me really like Jade!

    • Hi Sandra & thank you.
Yes I am also rather fond of this red. Jade is far more versatile than it first appears 🙂
